Exploring fractured narratives, Sarah Lederman’s paintings revisit memories of past places, people and moments. Her imagery is appropriated from art history, erotic illustrations, medieval manuscripts or children’s books and can take the form of grotesque hybrids of animals or human bodies engulfed in sensual pleasure.
