
David Batchelor is one of the most celebrated and influential British artists of his generation. For thirty years, he has been concerned with our experience of colour within the modern urban environment, and with historical conceptions of colour within Western culture. His work ranges from painting, drawing and photography to sculpture and large-scale installations. The release of this original limited edition, entitled Chromoscape, coincides with Batchelor's very first museum survey at Compton Verney (UK) in which this body of work is currently exhibited.
