Seeking to elevate the ordinary, he blends the tactility of oil paint with the unintended beauty of vernacular photography, creating compositions filled with ambiguity and open-ended narrative. His focus on city life reveals the tension between togetherness and isolation in urban environments. Recurring motifs such as shop windows, modern architecture and passers-by serve as quiet signifiers of contemporary city life.
