Assembly: Abraham Cruzvillegas & Celeste at The Royal Society of Sculptors, London

We are delighted to announce that a joint exhibition of Abraham Cruzvillegas and the artist duo Celeste (María Fernanda Camarena and Gabriel Rosas Alemán) and will open at The Royal Society of Sculptors on the 5 October.

Celeste will present Melons Covered in Willow Leaves, a new immersive installation, specifically created for the studio space at Dora House. A dynamic spiral moves throughout the composition, circling, enveloping, and dividing the space, to symbolise the non-linear passage of time and to mark Celeste’s four years of evolution into a duo. The installation also suggests a shelter and a space of containment.

10.30am: Abraham Cruzvillegas in conversation with Mark Godfrey
11.45am: Celeste in conversation with Isabel de Vasconcellos
The talks are free to attend but booking is required.
