Curated in collaboration with Modernity London, this intimate display brings together over thirty unique artworks by ten rising artists, along with a selection of rare Nordic furniture. Touching upon the themes of love, friendship and memory, the selection conveys a dreamy atmosphere, filled with romantic references, strange yet familiar at the same time. We are delighted to be showcasing the work of two new artists: German artist Jost Münster through a selection of large-scale abstract paintings, and Salomé Wu who is rapidly gaining worldwide attention for her unique interpretation of otherworldliness. We are also revealing Aethan Wills' latest oil paintings in which fragmented visions of Japanese gardens are depicted between abstraction and figuration, as well as Marianne Thoermer’s latest body of work which consists of extremely refined oil paintings inspired by surrealist scenes and landscapes. New ceramics by William Cobbing and Paulina Michnowska are also made available for the first time, including unique wall-mounted masks and hand sculptures, as well as lavish reinterpretations of antique Staffordshire figures. With this new collection, photographed in the apartment of art collector Anne-Pierre d’Albis-Ganem in South Kensington, London, we continue to bring to our audience the most remarkable works by painters Richard J. Butler, Sarah Lederman, William Stein and Ian Whittlesea’s iconic White Cloud Forming paintings.
