William Cobbing's latest ceramic figures are a development of his 'kiln devil’ series of small ceramic sculptures that link to his iconic clay head videos and performances. As if caught in a temporal state of metamorphosis, hands appear to blindly model the figures, and mask-like faces merge between states of expression and slow entropic transformation to earthy material.
