Established in Paris in 2021, Things From is a design duo which was founded on the desire to connect the worlds of fashion and interior design to create unique pieces of art for the home. Their first project is a stool made of natural wood from Patagonia and leather from La Pampa, Argentina. Its round and smooth shapes emphasise concepts of harmony and circularity, while the use of the colour black was inspired by Pierre Soulages's signature black colour called Outrenoir. The mix of materials gives a subtle contrast and a different look to the piece depending on the light environment.
