Irvin Pascal's ink and charcoal drawings bring together geometric, totem-like shapes alongside references from popular culture. They always bear the date when the artist started to make the work, as a personal record of the art making process. Pascal’s figurative works reference the built environment and landscape of Sussex, where he based, as well as scenes from the time he has spent in Los Angeles, US and Kingston, Jamaica.
