Anastasia Lopoukhine works across pen and ink, charcoal drawing and collage. Often drawing from memory, her works depict characters from her childhood, which function as prompts to help her recall the funny, grotesque and strange nature of everyday encounters.
This work was made during Anastasia Lopoukhine's six-month solo display at Home House in London. Each room within the historic house is crowned by its own distinctive chandelier, yet this one became inseparable from Lopoukhine's work, casting its light over the her pieces on display.
