Anastasia LopoukhineZoom Call
pen on paper
2022
76 x 53 cm
Anastasia Lopoukhine works across pen and ink, charcoal drawing and collage. Often drawing from memory, her works depict characters from her childhood, which function as prompts to help her recall the funny, grotesque and strange nature of everyday encounters. Since the pandemic, many of us have become all too familiar with Zoom meetings. This drawing is a musing on what people have (or don’t have) on their legs during Zoom calls.
